A unique mountain experience on the Emilia Apennines along the ancient Vandelli route, from Barigazzo to the well-known Passo delle Croci. This breathtaking route was first commissioned in the XVI century by the Este Family, in order to connect the Ducal Palace in Modena to Massa and the Tirrenean Sea in Tuscany. Over the centuries, this fascinating and historic cobblestones has been traveled by pilgrims, bandits, merchants. Starting from the little town of Barigazzo - where legends talk of mystic will-ò-wisp - we will reach the legendary Passo Cento Croci with its little stone oratory and stories about witches once living in the old hostel.
