It is said that Free Walking Tour is the perfect way to explore the city. We believe so. It is also a way to change perspective on the city itself. That is our mission. The city can be different, it all depends on the way you look at them. Of course, if you are looking forward to the historical centre, reinassance buildings and UNESCO heritage sites, you can easily visit it during a more traditional walk. We will skip that part and take you direclty to the B-side. Indeed, the N-side, where N stands for North.
Once arriving at the train station, you will head North. Pass the station underground tunnel and you will enter a diverse city.

This new itinerary, born from the mastermind of Free Walking Tour Modena and Modena Sobborghi, is an hybrid glimpse on Modena Nord, between the ethnically mixed and popular neighborhoods of Sacca and Crocetta. Navigate the water banks of Naviglio river, dance with the Estense royal family at the Villa Pentetorri, take the Orient Express which once connected Modena with Bombay, help the partisans to hide inside the Popolarissima, be the witness of the happenings of the 9th January 1950.
It will be a time journey.
