Really great tour led by Giovanni. So knowledgable, and friendly- and I learned so much more than I ever would have on my own. Great history, sights, and lots of suggestions for cafes, bakeries and wine shop to return to. Plus a lovely surprise/sweet treat halfway through, and taste of local wine at the end. Would highly recommend!

We were so glad we chose a walking tour of Trieste today rather than an impersonal hop on/hop off bus tour. Giovanni provided just the right amount of information in a really interesting and amusing way, and we enjoyed every minute. He even adapted the route to show us James Joyce places of interest (us being Irish), and his photos were great too. All in all, we'd have no hesitation recommending this tour.
