Free Walking Tour Como

Discover the City of Como with Us!
We begin our tour at an imposing medieval gate that marks the entrance to the old town. Just a few steps away is Piazza San Fedele, a charming square surrounded by historic buildings, featuring a vibrant atmosphere with cafés and local boutiques.
Next, we head to the majestic Duomo di Como, one of Italy’s most important cathedrals. Moving on to Piazza Cavour, the heart of Como’s social life. We then walk towards a monument dedicated to Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the electric battery.
Our tour concludes at the monument honoring the fallen soldiers of World War I.
We came out on a rainy day, thinking perhaps it would be cancelled. Not only did the tour take place, but Ignacio from Chile gave us a huge amount of knowledge about the history, art and culture of Como. Since we were a reduced group he asked us about our interests and added focus on art, architecture and a small visit to the cathedral. Amazing!
