Guided Tour of Rivalta Palace

Join us for an evocative evening guided tour discovering the history of Rivalta Palace, one of the most ambitious architectural projects of the House of Este, often referred to as Emilia’s “Little Versailles”.
Walking through the Palace Park, we will retrace the story of this remarkable residence, from its construction in the 18th century to its decline following the Napoleonic invasions and the recent restoration efforts that have brought part of its former beauty back to life.
Through stories, historical accounts, and fascinating anecdotes, we will recreate the grandeur of a palace that no longer exists, imagining its architecture, gardens, and courtly life while exploring the traces that remain today.
The tour takes place entirely outdoors within the Palace Park. The interior spaces of the southern wing are currently not accessible.
📅 Available dates: July 9 and July 23
