Florence Free Tour Tale

We were visiting Florence for the day and decided to do the Free Walking Tour to start our day. After some confusion of which tour group was ours, we were "adopted" by a young lady with a small group. This was very fortunate for us as she explained the Medici family and their influence on Florence - then wove this into the story as we visited various sites. She also gave tips as we went for various things. Highly recommend signing up for these tours, and don't forget to tip the guides!

Manuel was an incredible tour guide, knowledgeable and easy going, giving us a new way to lool at the city and explaining the details you can find on the walls of the buildings and streetcorners. The tour kind of continues after the excursion is over because I now know the history behind the details on the buildings etc. A really cool adventure in the medieval and renaissance Firenze! I usually make a habit of checking out the free walking tours wherever I go, so I do have expectations 😀 This one really delivered, I learned about interesting details of the city and its history in a fun way. Manuel, our guide, was really friendly and helpful with loads of visuals and pictures so that we can imagine the historical outline of the city as well. Very much worthy of your time! If you only do one tour in this city, you should definitely do this one!
