It was okay, Fabio told us a lot about different churches and conflicts in Lecce around the time of XVI century. If you are interested in constructive feedback I felt it could have benefitted from a bit of overall context into Lecce, say giving overview of what happened from its establishment to now. Moreover, would have been great to learn more about the city besides the churches
Our guide Dino was excellent combining riveting facts with stories, jokes and contemporary references. His English was impeccable and I can’t recommend this guide and this tour more.
Our guide Rafaella was passionate and knowledgeable about the town and its history. Her English was excellent. Her enthusiasm was infectious! She answered our many questions in great detail. We were only two couples which is a very nice number to fully appreciate a walking tour. We would highly recommend the tour.
NB If going to Lecce by car, parking is a bit hard to find. We planned to park at the station but the car park was full. We found free on-street parking (white spaces) at about a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral square where the tour starts.
