Free Walking Tour Matera will take you into a wonderful journey, where the past meets the present. We start at the very core of Matera old town, Piazza Vittorio Veneto; from there we will visit both Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso. During the descent, we will speak about art, architecture, history and politics, with a taste of antropology and water engineering. The tour ends in Piazza San Pietro Caveoso, after a short break (optional) into a real cave-house traditionally decorated.
