Transnistria Guided Tour

Discover one of Europe’s most unusual and fascinating destinations with an Italian-language tour of Transnistria.

Between the cities of Bender and Tiraspol, this experience offers a unique opportunity to explore a region suspended between its Soviet past, local identity, and contemporary everyday life.

Accompanied by an Italian-speaking guide, you will visit monuments, squares, memorials, residential districts, and the most important landmarks of this self-proclaimed state that remains unrecognized by most of the international community. Along the way, you will learn about the history of Moldova and Transnistria, the events that led to their separation, and the cultural peculiarities that make this territory unlike anywhere else in Europe.

The tour includes visits to the main attractions of Bender and Tiraspol, with optional experiences such as exploring the historic Bender Fortress or visiting an abandoned school near Tiraspol, a hidden location particularly appreciated by travelers interested in off-the-beaten-path destinations.

The experience is organized in small groups (maximum 6 participants) and includes transportation from and back to Chișinău. Football enthusiasts may also have the opportunity to attend a Sheriff Tiraspol match, depending on the fixture schedule.
