Lucio Dalla’s Bologna – Life, Places, and Songs of the Bolognese Singer-Songwriter

This tour will explore the places that Lucio Dalla, the famous Bolognese singer-songwriter, most lived in and sang about, turning him into an icon of the city’s historic and lesser-known neighborhoods. Following the thread of his songs, from his early days to his peak, we will stop at the following locations: Kinki Club, Jazz Street, his favorite trattorias (Cesari, Osteria del Sole…), Via D’Azeglio, Piazza de’ Celestini, Piazza Cavour, and Piazza San Domenico.

The Bologna of the Delirious ’70s – Songs of Guccini, Skiantos, and Gaznevada, Accompanying the Story of a City in Rebellion

This tour will take you through the places sung about by famous singer-songwriters and punk bands, depicting the Bologna that was a powder keg during the revolutionary ’77 riots. Following the thread of the songs and key historical events, we will stop at the following spots: Via Zamboni (University area), Via Clavature, Traumfabrik, Piazza Maggiore, Via de’ Griffoni, Via del Riccio, and Via del Pratello.
