Coming down from Milan, heading South, Parma is the perfect stop for a day or two. The city surprises for its elegant monuments, churches and green areas. The tour starts in Piazza Garibaldi, core of the social life, in order to reach Piazza Duomo, suggestive square which keeps a medieval atmosphere: the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the bishop's palace. We keep on going as we reach the Monumental complex of La Pilotta and its Garden, symbol of the duke's power. We then move to the Basilica Mariana della Steccata and ends in one of the most important monument in town: the Regio Theatre.
