Ancient Rome Free Walking Tour
Tour details
During the centuries when Rome was Caput Mundi (capital of the world), the forum was the Roman Empire’s political, social and commercial heart. Senators, slaves and commoners alike crossed paths in this bustling city centre, visiting the district’s courthouses, temples, government offices and shops. You will admire them again from the breathtaking terrace of the Capitol Hill. We will proceed towards the most internationally recognized symbol of the Ancient Rome, the Colosseum.
This tour will take you to a journey back in time to discover and learn the history of the Roman Republic and the Imperial Rome and its most important monument.
